Blessed Beyond Measure!

Well, it has been quite some time since we last posted on our blog but don't worry, we haven't forgotten about you we have just been SUPER busy! Working at Pensacola Christian College has been a great encouragement and also a great challenge. God has been stretching us in many ways. Many exciting things have happened since our last post so here ya go! First of all, we found out in February that we are going have a Baby in November! We are so excited about that.
This was our Baby at just about 9 weeks along.
We have been preparing in every way possible :)

Work continued with Sara as the secretary for Employee Services and me as the Residence Manager in Young Tower. As I write this, I am so thankful to God for the many ways He has blessed us and our "little" family. He has provided for us financially, spiritually, physically and every other way imaginable! I have been taking Advanced Old Testament this semester in Seminary and just finished up that class by taking my final today. All glory goes to God! He has carried me through in the midst of a busy semester of work.

Last weekend we were able to go to Sara's sister's wedding in Ohio. Cassandra was married to Caleb Antonuccci and Sara was the Matron of Honor. It was a fantastic weekend away and a blessing to see all the family on Sara's side. Her brother, Bryan, was able to fly in from his military service in Germany in order to be a part of the wedding! We are thankful for that and it was my first time meeting Sara's older brother in person. The wedding took place at a beautiful country club. Here are a few photos from the rehearsal:

In other news, my little sister, Melody, recently got engaged!!! She is now engaged to Jonathan Randazzo. They met here at PCC and God has continued to work in their relationship to bring them to this point. We are so excited for them!!

As Sara and I continue to follow God's leading for our future, we realize that God's way is always best and that is what we want. We have been praying about where God would have us to go after I graduate in August of 2015 with my Masters Degree in Biblical Exposition. Our desire is to join a church that will be our sending church and work there for at least a year so that we can be established in that church before heading out on deputation to get to the Ivory Coast, West Africa. We realize that God's timing is perfect and we are not trying to rush things. The very moment He wants us in Africa, we will be there and we are excited about that. Please be praying for God's direction in the church He wants us to be sent out of. I am in contact with a couple pastors about this possibility and we are just praying for God's clear direction. Thank you for your prayers and support and for taking the time to read more in our storybook. Until next time!

New Adventures Ahead!!

Well, we are officially living in Pensacola, Florida now! God is so good to have given us safe travels lugging our big 6'x12' U-Haul trailer from Ohio to Florida. It was really neat how God worked out the big move. We had originally signed up for the 6x12 trailer at U-Haul but after measuring our biggest items, I realized that we could do the trip with just a 5x8 trailer which was $250 cheaper than the 6x12. We switched over the paperwork and were set. When it was time to pick up the trailer, they did not have the 5x8 that we signed up for. The people who were supposed to drop it off broke down while traveling and were not able to get the trailer there in time. The U-Haul man told us that they were going to upgrade us to the 6x12 for no extra charge! That was a blessing. God knew just what we needed too because once we got it loaded, we filled the whole trailer up perfectly. I thought we would have a bunch of extra room. I am constantly amazed at how God cares about even the little things in our life (like the correct size of U-Haul trailers). Sara and I are settled in here at Pensacola Christian College and getting everything changed over and set up. Such as: Insurance, Residence, Banking, Licenses, Tags for our vehicle. We are so excited about the new adventures ahead of us and all that God will teach us as He uses us here in the ministry of PCC. I will soon begin my seminary classes with Pensacola Theological Seminary as I work on staff as a Residence Manager. Prayers are appreciated! Sara begins work on staff in the secretarial offices this coming Monday. We'll keep you posted, friends! -Christopher

Welcome to our Story...

We will be using this blog to keep you all updated on our journey toward full-time missions in Africa. During the summer of 2012, Sara and I were able to spend time working with missionary Bob Mach and his family in Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa. We believe that the Lord is leading us back there to serve Him on the mission field. Our goals on the field will be as follows: Soul-winning, Church planting, training nationals, ministry to orphans, and anything else the Lord allows. Honestly, we want to be used in any way for Christ and His Kingdom. We both graduated with our BA in Missions from Pensacola Christian College in May 2013. I will continue to further my education at Pensacola Theological Seminary working toward my Masters in Bible Exposition. This will allow me to teach and train nationals on the field. Sara and I will be working on staff at Pensacola Christian College while I pursue my masters. We pray that you will follow this blog as we share with you our story and continue to follow God day by day. To be continued... -Christopher
